This project explores the challenges educators might face when applying the concepts of safe space and brave space as pedagogical tools in diversity-rich learning environments. Are all students equally empowered to demonstrate bravery in classroom discussions? Can a sense of safety be consistently maintained when addressing difficult or sensitive academic topics? The project takes the first steps toward developing a viable pedagogical strategy to address these concerns and implement inclusive learning activities, drawing on classroom observations, evaluations, and teaching experiences from the University of Copenhagen
