This video lecture will emphasize the importance of understanding the innovation ecosystem – which includes the diversity of stakeholders that have a ‘stake’ in the global health problem being solved, especially the end-users. The methodology for stakeholder analysis will be discussed, as well as tactics and strategies for engaging with diverse actors and for bringing people together to co-design solutions to shared global health challenges.

• Conduct a basic stakeholder analysis using the power-interest grid
• Identify tactics and strategies for engaging with a diverse array of stakeholders – from allies to potential adversaries
